SSC Napoli are delighted to announce the signing of Giacomo Raspadori from Sassuolo. The Italy striker has joined on an initial loan deal with a compulsory purchase clause.

Es hat lange gedauert, aber jetzt ist es endlich offiziell: Wir verpflichten Raspadori von Sassuolo. Zuerst zahlen wir eine Leihgebühr von 5 Millionen. Anschließend haben wir eine Kaufpflicht in Höhe von 25 Mio. plus 5 Mio. Boni, die an die CL-Quali und seine Scorer geknüpft sind. Er hat einen Fünfjahresvertrag bis 2027 unterschrieben und wird rund 2,5 Mio. netto pro Jahr verdienen.
Wir haben uns das wahrscheinlich größte Offensivtalent Italiens gesichert. Raspadori ist 22-jähriger italienischer Nationalspieler, der bereits starke Leistungen in der Serie A gezeigt hat (10 Tore & 6 Vorlagen in der letzten Saison) und noch viel Entwicklungspotenzial mitbringt. Er ist schnell, beweglich, dribbelstark, technisch versiert und verfügt über einen guten Abschluss. Des Weiteren ist Giacomo beidfüßig, polyvalent einsetzbar (OM/HS, MS, LA) und eine Bereicherung für so ziemlich jede Offensive.
In allen Belangen ein sehr starker Transfer und ein klares Zeichen an die Konkurrenz. Sehr schön, dass er sich sofort für Napoli entschieden hat und laut diversen Medienberichten unbedingt zu uns wechseln wollte.

Giacomo Raspadori was officially unveiled as a Napoli player this Thursday. Below is some of what he had to say in his first press conference at the club:

Gianluca Raspadori scored the only goal as Italy beat England 1-0 in their UEFA Nations League match. The Napoli forward was the difference maker at San Siro, firing in a belter of a goal in the 68th minute.
Jack played 80 minutes of the game. Giovanni Di Lorenzo also featured, remaining on the pitch for the full 90 minutes.

Giacomo Raspadori was once again among the goals for Italy. He scored the winner against England last Friday and on Monday evening fired in his country's opener as they overcame Hungary 2-0 in Budapest.
He scored shortly after the half hour mark and was taken off after 72 minutes. Napoli team-mates Giovanni Di Lorenzo also played 89 minutes of the game.
With the win Italy reach the final four of the UEFA Nations League.

Giacomo Raspadori has undergone tests at the Pineta Grande clinic which revealed a second degree strain to the semimembranosus muscle in his left thigh. The Napoli striker has already started his rehabilitation programme and will be reassessed in the coming weeks.
