Raúl Tito joins FC Edmonton - Discovered by centralized scouting system
Raúl Tito to join the Canadian Premier League side FC Edmonton from Peru's second division side Club Cienciano. Edmonton announced the transfer of the 22-year-old on Wednesday.
“Raúl is a significant attacking addition to our club," FC Edmonton head coach Jeff Paulus said. "He is a quick player who loves to get at defenders and attack inside the 18. Raúl will bring creativity to our attack and add an attacking dimension that we were lacking.”
Tito was discovered by CPL's new centralized scouting system of young internationals, which is run by the league's soccer operations department 21st Club. The scouting department is supposed to help clubs identify young talent that can be developed and sold on with a profit.
