FC Emmen is a Dutch football club from Emmen, which was founded on August 21, 1925. It is the only professional football club from the province of Drenthe. The club has been playing professional football since 1985 and subsequently played in the First Division for 33 consecutive seasons. In the 2017/18 season, the club was promoted to the Eredivisie via the play-offs for the first time in club history. On May 20, 2021, FC Emmen dropped back to the First Division after losing the play-off match against NAC Breda after taking penalties. On April 29, 2022, the club became champions of the First Division for the first time, immediately being promoted back to the Eredivisie. On June 11, 2023, FC Emmen lost to Almere City for the second time in the final of the play-off, so that the club had to leave the Eredivisie again.

FC Emmen's traditional equipment consists of a red shirt with a vertical wide white stripe in the middle, white pants and white socks with horizontal red stripes. Home matches are played in De Oude Meerdijk stadium.
